How to Order Tea

We sell our loose tea by the ounce. You may order any number of ounces you like. Price breaks are given for most teas at 4 oz., 8 oz., 16 oz., and 32 oz. To see the volume price table for any tea, just click on the tea name or photo. This will also show you a larger photo and give a full description of the tea. Just enter the number of ounces you'd like in the Quantity field on the product's detail page. If you need separate packages of any one tea, say 2 4-oz bags of Earl Grey, put 4 oz. in your basket, then put another 4 oz. in your basket. This will show up as two separate items in your basket and will indicate to us how you'd like your tea bagged. For information on tea samples or packaging, click here. We have roughly 150 premium, loose leaf teas. There are two ways to find what you are looking for: Browse for it: To your left, if you click on "Tea Categories," you will see several subcategories to choose from, such as "Breakfast Teas" and "Oolong Teas." Many teas are listed in more than one category. For example, Earl Grey is listed in both the "Best Sellers" and the "Flavored Black Teas and Blends" categories. We hope that all the categories will help you narrow your search so you don't have to browse through all the teas if you don't want to. However, we do have an All Teas category in case you prefer to browse through one big list. In each category, teas are listed alphabetically, 10-20 per page. If there is more than one page, there will be a NEXT button on the bottom right of the screen. As you browse through the category pages, you will see the name of the tea, price, and a small photo. Click on "Go to Product" to view a description and volume pricing details. Search for it: If you are looking for something specific, the quickest way to find it is to use the SEARCH button in the upper left corner of any page. Type what you want in the text field (spelling counts) and hit the SEARCH button. The page will refresh with links to all the products that are possible matches to your search. Click on the one you are interested in to bring up the product detail page.

	Earl Grey $1.65 Earl Grey is the most popular tea blend in the western world. Its distinctive flavor is derived from the addition of oil of bergamot, a highly aromatic oil made from the rind of the fruit of the Citrus bergamia, a small tree, predominately found in southern Italy. The flavor of an Earl Grey tea depends on the quality and quantity of the oil used and the quality of the tea leaves. This Earl Grey has a nice even flavor, good aroma, and is made from fine quality bergamot and China black teas. Use one teaspoon per cup and steep in freshly boiled water for 3-5 minutes. 	Earl Grey White Tip $2.25 This blend contains the finest, high-grown Ceylon and China black teas and white Yinzhen tips or buds, also known as Silver Needles. Only the best oil of bergamot is used. This tea has an incredible aroma, which is matched only by its elegant flavor. Use one heaping teaspoon of leaves per cup, add boiling water, and steep for 3 minutes. 	Keemun Imperial $1.90 Classic Keemun aroma with a lightly orchid-like flavor. Quite smooth and rich, great for breakfast. Infuse 1 teaspoon of leaves per cup in freshly boiled water for three minutes. Priced by the ounce - please enter the number of ounces you'd like in the Quantity field above.
