Anyone looking for a reasonably priced, classic, light Ti Kuan Yin Oolong will find this tea from the Chinese Anxi County a terrific value. Its pale yellow liquor is smooth and fragrant, carrying a refreshing, buttery aroma as well as the sought-after orchid-like flavor.
Use one heaping teaspoon per cup and steep 3 minutes in nearly boiling (190 degree) water. Good for multiple infusions.
As of March 2014, our Fine Ti Kuan Yin is a new variety with more traditional characteristics. Customers seeking a deeper, more toasty Oolong similar to our previous Fine Ti Kuan Yin should try our Fujian Oolong
as a replacement.
